The idea originates from small containers used for the transportation of liquids, though at first the form wasn’t appropriate because it didn’t allow enough heat dispersion. Then it was decided on a round form, which can be used indoors but also outdoors, thanks to the use of simple materials and minimum constructive details.

The Tama lamp can be used in a wide variety of ways: indoors or outdoors, on the floor or on a small table or piece of furniture, resting on the white globe or on the cap, hung by the handle from a hook fixed to the wall, or suspended from the ceiling. In all cases it will spread a soft and pleasant light in the surrounding environment.
